![]() ![]() The Fender Telecaster features in every guitar range that Fender has available. The simplicity of this instrument is what so many love about it and adds to its 'workhorse' reputation. Other staple features are the three way switch and single tone and volume pots. It is seen as a guitar that everyone should have at least one of in their collection. The two single coil pickups give the Fender Telecaster guitar a distinctive sound affectionately known as the 'Tele Twang'. It has been the guitar of choice for rock players like Bruce Springsteen and Keith Richards through to country pickers such as Buck Owens and Roy Nichols. Since it was introduced to the public in 1951, the Telecaster has had very little in the way of changes. Often described as getting it right first time, Leo Fender really did hit the nail on the head here. The Fender Telecaster proudly sits as one of the few guitars that is instantly recognisable.
